Mrs

Great app! Weve had it since my daughter was 14 months and its grown with her. She still enjoys it as a 2 year old. The seasonal updates are cute!

Not worth the money for any child over 1

perhaps a 8 month old with good dexterity might enjoy the game

Great game!

My 1 year old likes this game. It keeps his attention for a little while. A few suggestions: 1. More animals - more variety means more time be interested in playing with the game 2. Dont allow the barn door to be closed until after the animal name sound file is played in full. Quite often the screen is touched before the full name of the animal is played. All in all its a great game!

Not really worth the money

My toddler likes it but there should be more animals , for the price

Great app, only wish more user control at end

My 2 year old loves the layout and style of this game, it has cute graphics and very easy to use. The only thing is at the end of the game there is a scene where the animals are sleeping. He smiles at them and wants to see them longer, but it is not user controlled and goes by really quickly and he gets very frustrated at this. Wish the end was user controlled. Another thing is I thought there was a barn party at the end. Maybe a few balloons or something?

Best kids app!! A+++

Love this app. My kids have all loved this app. I just wish the cat still meowed when the door opened.

Good app 1 negative

I wish when they say the animal it was an adult saying it, instead of a baby. I bought this app for my child to learn how to say words/animals and I find when the baby says it you cannot always understand each syllable.

disappointed

I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist and I work with preschool aged children (between the ages of birth to school-entry). I bought this app to use with the children on my caseload. I wanted to use it as a listening activity (e.g. listen to the animal sound and figure out what animal it is) then have the child I am working with name the animal before opening the barn door. I am very disappointed with the voices that are naming the animals. The number of sound errors made in the pronunciations provide a poor model for the children on my caseload whom I want to provide clear word models to. With the app as it is, I will not be using it in my therapy. I had hoped this would be a great app that I could recommend to my colleagues, but unfortunately I will not be able to do that.

Kid-approved!

We downloaded this application when my daughter was about 10 months old. It didnt take her long at all to figure out how to open the barn doors and reveal the animals. Now at about 12 months she is beginning to repeat the sounds or names of the animals. She plays it every morning while Im trying to wake up and make her breakfast. Shes even figured out which of the START or SETTINGS button to press so that she can restart the game without Mommy around. Of the few applications Ive downloaded for her, this is definitely a favourite!

Very nice!

The graphics are charming, the dynamic of the game is just the right one, sounds are sometimes strange but i absolutely suggest this app x ur toddler!

We love this app

My only problem with this app is that I wish the animals were a little closer to realistic. Otherwise this is a favorite in our house! We bought it for my daughter when she was 9 months old and at 30 months, its still a favorite. Her 7 month old brother loves it now too. Awesome way to teach cause and effect.

The best interactive baby, toddler, preschool app.

My now 12-month-old granddaughter enjoys the animals, as did my grandsons about that age. It also enthralled a 2 year old who was tired of watching her 4 year old brothers preschool graduation ceremony! All ages were able to tap the barn to see the animals. None of the other Peekaboo apps come close to the value of the Barn, because of its sweet ending.

Great app for 18 months and under

This simple to use and allows for single touch for play. Great learning tool. Shows word, animal and speaks the words.

Not happy with changes

I have used this app for years with my special Ed preschoolers and have always loved it, BUT the recent change to animal charicatures and unrealistic colors has ruined this app for me. The previous graphics were beautiful, wish they had left it alone.

Bring back the simpler drawings!!!

Ive had this app for years and loved it. However, the new drawings are terrible and almost scary. Please, go back to the old animal drawings and you go back to being a 5-star app!

Bad update!

Very unhappy with the update. There is a huge population of children with visual impairments that use your app. Because of the simplicity of the characters, the contrast of the barn against the sky and the movement and sound prompts, they were able to visually interact with the app. The update is now very unrealistic looking, unfamiliar, and too complex! Please bring back the old version! I regret making this update!!

Wish we could switch back to older style

New animals seemed to have lost their souls... I wish there was an option to have the old styled animals back

Option to use old version?

The classic look of the old version is what made the ap so charming. The animation moved slowly and the design of the animals had a throwback feel to it which I loved as a parent. The new animation makes it look like anime and its more difficult to distinguish the animals with the huge eyes and rounded features and odd movement. Please change it back to the classic look or give us an option to use it please! Was a 5 star app and now I dont use it.

The only app that keeps my toddler entertained

Super cute and fun app for toddlers learning animal names and sounds

Miss the old art

We love Divya Sirivasans art. Very disappointed to see it replaced here and with something so generic.
